About Nancy

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

My work in psychotherapy, integrative medicine, and life coaching began as a registered nurse working in psychiatric hospitals, inpatient chemical dependency rehabilitation, and hospice. While earning a Masters in Counseling, I worked at a youth and family services agency, followed by 10 years at an outpatient behavioral health clinic providing diagnostic mental health evaluations, counseling, and group therapy, as well as consulting in primary care as a behavioral health nurse practitioner. Subsequently, I consulted at skilled nursing facilities, worked in inpatient geriatric psychiatry, and at Seattle's Asian Counseling and Referral Services when I started a private practice in Bellevue, WA.

My compelling focus in practice has been to help people recognize and follow their heart's desires, and to support their process to its fullest expression. Life coaching and integrative medicine have evolved naturally from my 35 years of clinical practice which embraces a wellness model. I find it most rewarding to trust and support people believing in themselves, connecting with their natural healing and growth potential, and to help them know their limitless possibilities.

In addition to working as a WA State Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (ARNP) in mental health, I am licensed as a mental health counselor (LMHC), and certified as an herbalist in ayurvedic, western, and traditional Chinese herbal medicine.
